Stolen from half the f-list on tumbr.
Send me a character name and I’ll tell you:
My first impressions of them.
What I think of their design.
What I think of their role in the story.
What I think of their interactions with other characters.
My favorite aspect of the character overall.
What could have been improved or changed with regards to the character.
My number one wish for this character.
Be prepared for a long blank stare if you ask me about, say, Fiona, though.

Date: 2013-04-24 08:14 am (UTC)I actually think Henry hooking up with Panne to make default hair Yarne makes a lot of alpha timeline sense. He was in contact with Panne before Chapter 6 and their first
major timeline change. On the other hand, in the present timeline he hasn't met Tharja until he joins your army, which makes it more questionable that he would have naturally met her in the alpha.
I don't think he makes much of a real case for Plegians, considering his own apathy toward their lot put in direct contrast with his affection for the Ylissean army. And there's something about both Plegians having broken families (actually, make that all three) that's suspicious to me.
I think J!Henry, given his inclinations toward boyishness, is essentially in Ricken's league. So whether he's been told of the birds and the bees (and in this world with no sex ed I don't think he's the only one) there's a certain level of squick potential there.
Fwiw, there's nothing about the village mass murder that strikes me as "necessary" in the strict sense. If it was indeed about the wolf thing, wolfmom was already dead by the time he showed up. As he says himself, it was an act of lashing out in anger (and, I suspect, not knowing his own syrength).
I'm conflicted on whether that's more or less sympathetic, but it is what it is I suppose.

Date: 2013-04-24 06:20 pm (UTC)I guess if anyone can get friendly with Giant Rabbit Lady in alpha timeline it'd be our wolf-raised bird-loving boy. 'Cause otherwise I can't see Panne going for any human.

No, but his conversation does spotlight them as people in a game that otherwise doesn't seem to give a damn. And yes, in context Henry doesn't seem to give a damn either, so it's mostly just infodump.
