Integrated Theory of Lachesis, Take Two

All right. Pieced this together during some long drives this week.
1) Leaf swears at the end of FE5 that he's going to search for Lachesis and, when he finds her, ask her for Nanna's hand in marriage. (Canon)
2) Leaf does not do this during the events of FE4. (Canon)
3) After FE4 wraps up, Leaf and Nanna both participate in action elsewhere, specifically in Agustria. (Hard canon for Nanna, easy to infer for Leaf-- he'd be returning a favor to Delmud and Aless, after all).
4) Leaf settles down as King of Thracia in 780, two-odd years after the end of FE4. (Canon)
5) Leaf marries Nanna (Canon per FE5)
OK, so what? Lachesis is a statue adorning what's left of the Yied Shrine, or maybe in the basement in Manster. Or the secret basement at Barhara where Azel got stashed in his glass coffin, whatever. Well, none of that ever made it into the finished game of FE5, did it? All we know is that Delmud tells the audience that Levin told him that his mom's not dead. She's not necessarily one of the statues glimpsed at the end of Chapter 4.
And Kaga's headcanon had something starkly different. Lachy ended up in a Lopt Sect prison camp in Silvail, the extreme western end of Agustria. In that version of events, Delmud found her when he liberated the camp. So... what if Leaf encountered her there? Then Lachesis settles in Agustria to bond with her son and nephew, and Leaf and Nanna go back to Thracia and get married. It allows Leaf to keep his promise and marry Nanna honorably while wrapping up a lot of loose ends.
No, I have no idea how she got to Silvail from Yied. I mean, I have a couple of hazy theories, but... uh... yeah. And obviously this would mean that Finn spends three years MIA for reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with Lachesis-- if she's settled down happily in Agustria, then she ain't in the desert-- so we're still throwing darts at the wall on that count. But I've always been uncomfortable with the way the end of Leaf's game has Our Hero making a promise he apparently can't fulfill, which is something Cuan was awfully good and and aren't we supposed to be Better Than That in Gen 2?[*]
At least in this scenario, Leaf makes good on his vow to Nanna. And that's a much better was to embark on your life together than the alternatives presented to us.
ETA: I have never liked the prison camp scenario because the idea of angelic Lachesis ministering to these kiddies in a Lopt Camp struck me as redolent of the "Happy Face Holocaust" crap that mawkish movies and incredible memoirs push every few years. Yes, Mama Lachy fills the lives of these kids with such joy before they're put on the train to Barhara and shoved into Lopt ovens. Blech.
* Well, there is the whole Miranda thing...
