 Haven't updated "Starchild" in a while, but I was working on the retooled Chapter 14 today.  My momentum still hasn't recovered from that "Just write!" error a while back.  It'll still be twenty chapters, and from here on out it's going to be really weird.

I've written three of the seven one-word prompt fills, so I'm behind schedule.  I'm working on #4 at present but the characters are not cooperating.

Not sure about the FE Big Bang, as my summer looks really disruptive.  We'll see.

Had a very cracky Lyn hypothesis that I should better keep to myself.  Yet another "why Lyn REALLY left Caelin" deal, only more wacked-out than most.  CGs are to blame.

I think the chances of that FE6!Eliwood/Rebecca story actually being written are pretty good right now.  See, I need a balance of life-affirming characters and bleak characters in my life, and once Raphi convinced me that Ephraim fell into the "bleak" category I glommed onto the idea of survivor!Eliwood to compensate.  So I've been all warm fuzzies over Eliwood ever since.

Also you guys are sucking me over to the survivor!Eliwood idea. >_> With either Rebecca or Fiora. I think the idea of him getting with Fiora later in FE6 would be horribly interesting. /but that's probably just me

speaking of rebecca though, i did get something like an outline done for that piece you requested a while back. :3 i know exactly what it'll be about. now to motivate myself. u_u

No way, I find that appealing.

Also like that idea you had for survivor!Florina, since she pretty much always ends up a) married to Hector and b)dead. Let Farina take the hit while the other two survive into, er, middle age.

Oh yeah, Starchild. I've been meaning to review that one, but it's on the "long review" list, which is currently gathering up a backlog of fics that I have a rather lot to say about while I'm writing on very little motivation to write crit.

I kind of agree - having him in contrast to my other favored lords makes him a lot more appealing, somehow. For once it's someone who goes through hell and comes out. . . pretty okay!

I think maybe that's why I'm never quite into dark Eliwood-centric fic. Just feels like. . . he kind of deserves happier things, somehow.

Also glad I'm not the only one who felt like the Sacae magnetism or whatever had to be the only thing pulling Lyn back. I mean, Sacae is home to her, but Eliwood and Hector can keep her in Pherae. Why is it different for, say, Kent, or Florina?
