Fic Update: "Dark Sun of Desire" Part Five

Sweet killfile, how I do miss thee.

Anyway, "Dark Sun of Desire" got updated again tonight.  This chapter finds Nyna in Port Sofia (Southern Valencia), spending her gold unwisely and getting absolutely nowhere in her search for Camus/Sirius... in part because she doesn't know he has yet another pseudonym when he's at home.  Also features one more flashback, a Marth/Nyna scene that can be filed under "it's complicated," plus this chapter finally introduces Cellica.  Yay, Cellica.

People are clicking, but nobody reviews this one for some reason, so maybe my readership consists of hitbots.  Maybe I should throw a fit on FFNet to score some attention and then blame my father for it.

Nah, that's fine. Reviews are love, but at the same time... if someone, somewhere, derives enjoyment or discomfort or something from what I write, that's great. Which is why I don't put "please review" anywhere on my 'fics or profile.

I try to review everything that leaves some kind of impact on me, and DSoD definitely did that from the couple chapters I've read thus far. I just don't feel like I can intelligently express why, which just bugs me.
I always feel like a loser going "I liked it~", I guess.

Heh. I can sympathize with that feeling.

Well, DSoD is seriously weird stuff. Something set after a game a lot of fans haven't played that crosses over with a game that's obscure even in Japan? Yeah.

Also, I'll confess that it's one WIP I've ever posted where I actually don't know what the ending is going to be. That's a huge no-no for me. I have one scene that I keep wanting to end it with, but getting there without cheating will be... difficult.

That whole "I have a cool idea for a scene!!" is pretty much how every 'fic I've ever written has come about. Usually I have no clue where it's going til it gets there, so I know the feeling.
Will probably make for trouble with longer things, but, meh! It's more fun for me that way.
