And It Begins
Jan. 3rd, 2011 08:01 pm So 2011 comes in with bang. Today's tally? Six hundred dollars in repairs to my car, several hours in lost wages, and four hours in the ER for a gashed scalp. Completely separate incidents, too. The car went into the shop because we put 2200 miles on it last week and some nasty orange lights appeared on the dashboard on the drive home. I went into the hospital because, while working at home, I bent down to retrieve my earbuds, came up WAY too fast, and smacked my head on the rather sharp corner of my wooden desk.
It was gross. Really gross. But hey, next time I write about someone with a gushing wound on their head, I can inject a note of realism, right?
Oh well. If this is the worst day I experience in 2011, it'll be a pretty good year.
Anyway, the holidays, travel, and an honest-to-pete vacation from work brought about some new 'fic ideas, including this. It's a multi-chaptered tale featuring Elice and Marth after the War of Darkness. I'm trying for something a little bit different, here... I don't think I've successfully completed anything in Elice's POV before. The setting is pure invention, some of the major characters are OCs, and the great unspoken presence in the 'fic is Liza.
So, parts one and two are up. Those of you who want to embrace the female side of fandom, have at it!

No headdesking for you anymore. Blame it all on the anon meme. "Guys, I was just so appalled by the anon meme, I headdesked and it didn't go very well."
I will try to read your multi-part thing soon. :3 I APOLOGIZE FOR CRAPPY REVIEWS IN ADVANCE.
Also female side of fandom what. You can't do that. :P

Well, I mean, there are some people whose heads may deserve injuring, but you don't seem to be one of them.
But, ah, writing is good <3

Date: 2011-01-04 06:14 am (UTC)At least there were fic ideas that came out of everything. Head wounds are D: though. And they hurt. A lot. D:
BUT YAY FIC! I'll read it when I'm not currently trying to remember how to do things in English, lol.

OTOH, the FE gang have magical healing staves, so my OCs have far more reason to hate me.
