FE12 Super-Spoilers Weapons Update

 SerenesForest has a list of the swords available in the Japanese version of FE12.

So, we have all the crap from FE11, plus some new stuff and some changes to FE3.

Rapier-- apparently Feena can't use it anymore, as the list sez "Marth only."  Guess she's not sekrit royalty of Judgral, Sofia, or anywhere else anymore.

Falchion-- can now be used to recover HP, like Gradivus could in FE11.

CECIL HAS HER OWN SWORD YAY CECIL I LOVE YOU.

Ogma has his own sword, too.

Then we have this weird stuff: Rook's Sword, Quick Sword, Obtuse Sword, Glass Sword, Pure Sword, and Bamboo Sword.  Maybe the last is used in the Prologue, assuming the Prologue chapters really are some kind of training exercise.  I have no idea wtf a "Pure Sword" or "Obtuse Sword" would even be.  Oh, OK, it says the Pure Sword gives a Res effect.  Like Pure Water.  I guess Obtuse Sword is probably a blunted training weapon, too.


This game is on crack.  I can't wait.

ETA: Serenes Forest is now calling this game FE12 and its predecessor FE11.  The tide is turning....

I'm really curious how "Obtuse sword" is going to come out in the localization.

Prolly "blunt sword," as that's what it seems to be. There are a lot of hax new weapons in this, apparently... and some crap ones, from the looks of it.
