FE4: Test Results In!
Mar. 10th, 2013 02:52 pmSo, seventeen years after Barhara, we meet up with Seliph and his posse in Isaac.
I complain about the Tilnanogue gang being underwritten, but their introductions aren't terrible. Larcei and Lana make it clear to the boys that they as girls have a damn good reason to fight their oppressors, for instance. It's just that they don't really go anywhere from their starting point.
[Also, I wish we learned more about where Oifaye, Lester, and Delmud were before the game and what they were up to. Scouting out other rebel groups sounds 10X more interesting than anything we see Del or Lester actually do in the game.]
The timeline is already giving me headaches. If Barhara really happened in 761 (and thus 9+ months after the opening of Chapter 5), then this should be 778, not 777. Larcei and Ulster were two years old when Shanan took them to Isaac, making them a few months older than Seliph (which gels with Seliph's "I'm not a kid" conversation with them), which means they were born in Agusty, which has all these other implications. Argh.
So, our new heroes:
