Wow. Springtime is busy for birthdays around here. So, that's a happy belated birthday to Raphi, a timely happy birthday to Sriya, and a happy advance birthday wish for Kender. I hope everyone has a great time.

Anyway, after 9 false starts, I actually finished a 'fic this calendar month.
"Does He Love You?" is the end result of 3 of those false starts, an attempt to grapple with Lachesis and "all her weird relationships," with (hopefully) not cheap-shotting anyone in the process.
Lachesis and said weird relationships are a problem, to the extent that page 94 of the 20th Anniversary FE artbook takes a time-out to spotlight her infamous Ch 5 conversation with Beowulf. There's that canonical obsession/passion for her elder half-brother. There's the entire Beowulf angle and the wank over her "true feelings," which does indeed extend into J!fandom and isn't just a translation issue. And there's the whole third-act drama with Finn, and all the hearts&flowers fanart out there of the two of them doesn't change what the Thracia 776 script actually says about their relationship.
