FE13 DLC Dialogue

Okey-dokey.

I think I managed to find a bunch of the in-chapter DLC dialogue for FE13-- conversations between Chrom's posse and a slew of Jugdral and Akaneia characters.  I'm guessing this comes from the Marth vs Celice chapter(s).

If any of this is any good at all, please let me know, because the Bablefish Google translations I skimmed over were pretty effin' dull and honestly the dialogue choices seemed pretty random in most cases.  The Jugdral characters mostly seem like cartoon versions of themselves, and the more lengthy dialogue with the Archanea characters didn't appear especially insightful.  Virion mocks Norne for her lack of elegance with the bow or whatever.  There might be something here dealing with the actual crossover mechanics, though.

The character voices make me want to stab something. Like hell Sigurd would say リーダー　("leader" in katakana) instead of the Japanese word for leader.

Skimming this, most of these just look like various incarnations of the generic "YOU WOULD FACE ME IN BATTLE?" lines. And so on.

Oh, but this one's interesting.

Her battle with Mark is just some banter where he's like "I don't fight pubsecent girls, you should withdraw" and she's like "no u" and he's like "oh I guess we need to fight."

わたしの意思で戦ったんだもの…
負けても悔いはないわ。

Even though I'd fought of my own will? ...
But even in defeat I do not regret it.

Haha, Yurius vs Nono is cute.

Yurius: All who stand in my way shall be struck down!

【ンン】
むーっ、すごく苦しげな気配を

Yurius: What the fuck do you know? Those who hinder me, disappear!

So tsundere. :P Fwiw I like that Yurius didn't concede any ground.

Most of these really don't look very interesting. But here's Fin, since I know you like him.

早くこの地から立ち去るんだ。
そうすれば、戦いもおさまる。

Fin: Please leave this place swiftly. If you do so, this conflict may be sorted out.

対ソール VS Sol
【フィン】
貴様たち、早くこの地から立ち去るんだ。

Fin: You louts, leave this place swiftly. If you do so, this conflict may be sorted out. [It's the same as the above except with a "kisama-tachi" added at the front. Not very polite, Fin!]

【ソール】
そうしたいんだけど、君たちが
いなくならないと帰れないんだよね。
Sol: Though we'd like to, since your bunch must be here, we cannot return. [lacking context for this, but it does look like mechanics!]

Anyway, other than Yuria and Yurius, my impressions from skimming are that the lines are mostly just cosmetic.

Can I just say that there looks like there's some kind of record for conversations where Ylisse characters try to usher women and children off the field?

Which doesn't make a lot of sense given how many of their number are, um, women and children.

Yeah, a lot of the death quotes sounded more like retreat quotes, which makes me wonder what exactly is going on here.
