WIP Update / Candy

"Starchild": Still fooling around with Chapter 20.
"Honesty is (Not) the Best Policy": Doing a total overhaul to get rid of the Altea/Gra kinship angle.
"Island of the Holy Rose": Gonna deep-six the twin brother now. Too bad; I liked him better than Marcellus. Marcie is a dull little brat.
"Sleeping Beauties": Still working on the second and third vignettes
"Cuckoo in the Nest" is currently being given a bath so as to de-soapify it.
Anything not mentioned isn't discontinued, just on the back burner with minimal heat.
"Untitled" (pre-FE5)
Little slice-of-life thing about Lachesis, Leaf, a day in the snow, and some hungry little songbirds. In progress because I'm not in the mood for cute.
"Faith, Law, King" (post-FE8)
Ephraim in Grado. Currently unfinished because I don't think I'm really in Ephraim's head. It doesn't "feel" like Ephraim.
"To Be A Lost Cause" (pre-FE5)
It's a long, hard, road from Tahra to Fiana. In progress because filling in the gaps of how Leaf and co. got from point A to point B is pretty tricky on this one.
"Arcadia" (FE8... sorta)
After her father's assassination and her brother's disappearance, Eirika takes refuge in a government protection program, accompanied by her bodyguard, Seth. But the pleasant community of Arcadia Falls turns out to have something messy beneath its tidy surface...
Getting uncertain about this one because I don't want a Seth/Eirika retread of "Starchild" set in a modern-day suburb.

Found something interesting in the candy aisle at Holiday Market yesterday: Bavarian Malt Candy. It's great; I like barley-sugar candy anyway, but this comes in nice irregular chunks instead of smooth lozenges and the taste is rich and a little smoky. Nice stuff.
