Meta Month, Day Three / Fic Posting

OK.  I was going to throw up a little bit of cracky headcanon regarding Minerva for today's meta contribution, but I went and made a 'fic out of it instead.

Because we all know why noblewomen suddenly retire to convents, right?  ;P

I was going to say I liked the depiction of the baby too -- the way Catria calls him Baby in her head, his fussiness over the tooth.

Re: Catria and the baby... imagining a professional woman (as that's what my headcanon!Catria is above all else-- a professional) suddenly juggling this infant and having to force-develop a bond with it as its mother... yes, a fun situation.

I revisit the things that bother me.

I do like Minerva, though. Part of what I don't like about her is the craptastic ending she gets, which compels me to pick and pick at it for some kind of satisfaction.
