August in Review: WIPs and Such

mark_asphodelHighly unproductive. Only published one new piece and one chapter of an WIP. "Starchild" still not finished. The next chapter of "Dark Sun of Desire" is still not finished. And most ideas didn't get past the planning stage.
Let's see...
"Civilian"-- the Palla/Arran crack pairing thing that isn't for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
fe_contest. A whopping 99 words, and no it's not meant to be a drabble.
"Dirty Pretty Things"-- some M-rated Catria/Marth where he's NOT using her as a stand-in for Caeda. 702 words, and I'm just going in circles.
"Honesty Is (Not) the Best Policy"-- Genderbending, Archanea style. 494 words, despite extensive plotting in my head.
"Son of the Morning Star"-- fucked-up FE11 AU resulting from frustrations in writing "To Freely Serve." 312 words at present, again in spite of lengthy... consideration.
Steampunk Archaea Project-- 500 words plus some word-doodles of Catria with a gun.
"Grains of Light"-- 786 words of Finn wandering around the Yied Desert.
"That Cute Child"-- A piece on the relationship between Caeda and Tiki, because I find the dilemma of what to do when your husband brings home a lolisaurus to be at least worth some serious contemplation. 588 words; I know exactly how I want the scenes to go, but the right words aren't coming to me.
"Winter"-- Hayden in retirement spends a long Frelian winter educating two of his grandchildren. Zero words and just a lot of mental plotting.
That Eliwood/Lyn/Wil/Rebecca fiasco I've been thinking over for some time-- zero words and a lot of mental plotting, still.
And a lot of aimless, plotless pr0n that never makes it to the page in any releasable form. Frustrating as hell.
Here's hoping Meta Month will get some mental gears unstuck.
