I used to think people who suffered convenient computer failures were lying, at least until my hard drive froze up and everything went bloop last Monday in the middle of some mundane email exchange.
Anyway, after painstaking reconstruction of shit I didn't have backed up for no very good reason, I now have a new hard drive with an upgrade to OSX Mavericks and I don't appear to have lost any personal files. The downside is I lost bookmarks, apps, the ability to use my AIM program, and all my FE ROMs.
But then I downloaded Open EMU and oh my it is an awesome emulator and that old piece o' crap I was using for SNES games can suck it. So I'm now on Chapter 1 of my reconstruction of the FE4 play through that got rudely interrupted plus I'll have a fresh start on FE5 and FE12 and maybe I'll give this new translation of FE6 a whirl.
