FE4: The Experiment Continues
Mar. 12th, 2013 12:26 amI hate Chapter Seven.
No, I really, really hate Chapter Seven. I hate this convoluted mess of a map with its physical barriers and sand traps and check points and interminable avenues. There are some things that seem a little cute, like the way Cutozov doesn't whip out Fenrir until about a dozen turns in, but overall playing this chapter is at best grim satisfaction and at worst deeply un-fun. This map seems designed to suck up your time, and even if you decide to hell with the eastern front and warp/return Lenster Trio 2.0 outta there, the western edge of battle isn't any fun either.
I did not warp/return the Trio to safety, because if I'm going to have my time wasted during the Yied/Melgen/Darna campaign, at least Leif and Nanna can be leveling up on the endless stream of mooks out of Alster. More on that below.
So, anyway, we get another pack of new(ish) characters.
( Enter Hero Sword Patty )
I had more to say about Lana but I'll save it for next time.
