Why yes, I am blasting through this to distract myself from the fact that I have a major deadline tomorrow and I still don't have my presentation in working order.
OK. So, in Chapter Four, we actually get to the moon. Sort of. This fictional United Free Nations (UFN) space program, like the U.S. Apollo program, has a couple of "baby steps" before anyone actually lands on the moon... in part because the lunar lander ain't ready for prime time. [Note: the Apollo program would never do a complete overhaul in mission goals with two weeks' notice to the crew. Two months, maybe. I'm taking some license here... and taking a page from some things the Soviets allegedly did.]
Anyway, for anyone wondering what the hell this story is about:
( There's always sketch with Sephiran involved... )
