Attention Weird Food Peoples
Mar. 27th, 2011 09:19 pmWhat's a good, reliable source for pandan paste? I found it on VeryAsia.com but don't want to buy from the first website I come across in case there's something skeezy about them. Also, I don't know the difference between the two sizes of paste that they sell there.
Any help is appreciated.
[Basically, I got some pandan sponge cake from a local Chinese bakery today and thought, "Yeah, this is good, but homemade would be even better!" And then I found a whole ton of recipes for lovely green things.]
Status update: Hurdle #1 of eleventy-one successfully crossed. Still sick; obviously went back to work too soon. The next "D-Day" (D = deadline) is Monday the 4th, so I'm not going to be too happy until that's done. And then I get posted out of town, very much against my personal preference, the following week. Yay.
