Lord Promotion Rant, Redux

 A while ago, I commented with (typical) negativity on the obsession of a subset of Fire Emblem fans regarding the "need" to promote a certain Fire Emblem Lord in his latest game.  Unless you count stat-cap boosts from the Shield of Seals as a promotion, the answer from canon is "nothing doing," but now that the average stats for characters in FE12 have been posted, I figured it would be worthwhile to investigate my other assertion that, even if he did promote, Marth's stats still wouldn't make fanboys very happy.
