Most Ridiculous Moments in Fire Emblem

 Now that sacae  is playing through FE11 and has seized onto one of its "immortal" moments ("Yow!  It's an enemy ambush!"), I figured it was time for a survey.

What do you think is the most jaw-droppingly stupid moment in the annals of Fire Emblem?  It can be the scene wherein the heroes demonstrate Dark Helmet's Law ("Good is dumb.") or a moment where the villains drop the ball so utterly that they deserve the ass-kicking they get at the hands of a bunch of kids.  Or, for kicks, post both.

ETA: This is totally unrelated, but apparently IS completely redid the ending cut-scene in Chapter 15 of FE12.  I do NOT understand what they are trying to do in this game.  I just don't.    

New Toy

 I bought a sword today.

No joke.  Stainless-steel short sword with a very attractive hilt and pommel.  Plus a violet leather sheath to keep it in.

That is all.

PS: Now I need to buy some Liquid Wrench....
