I need to stop reading Seth/Eirika stories.  I need to stop reading S/E unless I absolutely trust the author not to simultaneously destroy whatever affection I have for the characters and their relationship, AND not to cheap-shot a third party (usually Innes) in the process.

I remember now why it took me so darned long to warm up to that pairing in the first place.

In other news, I am reeling from the implications of the Jugdral-Archanea bombshell linked to by shimizu_hitomi.  Talk about a game-changer.  To have something go from "cracky rumor I kind of like" to "canonical fact that forces a paradigm shift" is almost upsetting.
