I always feel bad reading your FE1/2/3/11 stuff, because I feel I'm missing so much of the rich context, not having played anything prior to 5.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with writing a few optimistic stories now and again; I don't care what anyone says, lighthearted /= lousy. :P Whenever I write a grimdark piece, it always reflects a little bit of melancholy back on me personally (or maybe it's the other way around ;_;) so I try to work in happy endings whenever I can. Everyone loves happy endings.
