Okay, well, now that you mention it, Lyn is usually not trying to off anyone or doing any form of real vengeance in AUs. Errr modern-day ones, anyhow.
In that, I guess, it doesn't hold true to the game so there IS that variety there.
But yeah, I agree completely that it doesn't work to have the characters seeking revenge the way they do in the games. Otherwise our heroes would be just as much criminals in the eye of the law as the villains.
