Sleeping Beauty, Again

Reading about that new "Sleeping Beauty" film, which after all revisits a fairy tale I find endlessly disturbing, makes me want to write some kind of genuinely inverted take on the story.  Something with an active female molesting acting upon a passive/comatose/dead male character.  Just out of sheer perversity, you know?

Suggestions welcome.  It's a burr under the saddle to me at present.

I profess to having a bit of an obsession with fairy tales as a whole (and take incredible delight in seeing them completely inverted), so I'm probably incredibly biased. But that would be something to see. In a rather creepy way.

And on the topic of creepy, why do I see this scenario working out almost disconcertingly well with Lyon and Ephraim? (After her last piece with the two of them, I'm blaming this entirely on [livejournal.com profile] raphiael.

Why are these things always my fault? :|

I think, at this point, that most everything I do is somehow related to you,

Yeah, but that would go against the conceit of having the female be the actor/aggressor in this particular re-telling. And Raphi kind of already gave me all the Ephraim squickage I can handle in one calendar year.
