Marcus. Welp.

My first impressions of them.

It's the Jagen! Hi, Jagen.

What I think of their design.

FE6: It's the Jagen! Purple armor and all.

FE7: Oh, so now it's red armor and purple hair. That's better.

What I think of their role in the story.

Kick. Ass. One of the very few glimpses we have of an adult character active over a long period of time, with Marcus it's mostly good stuff we see. (Though he seems to be the resident Training Freak, at least he's not a NUT about it.) Yeah, there's obvious tragedy in the whole business with Elbert and in that he might actually outlive Eliwood (!), but overall he's just a strong and positive character.

What I think of their interactions with other characters.

He gets a paired ending with Merlinus. And his supports with Lilina give us the backstory on Roy's mother and the Ilian flower. Awesome.

(Also I kind of ship him with Eleanora. Oops.)

My favorite aspect of the character overall.

I guess that in the first attempt at really, really replicating a "Jagen," purple armor and all, IS did a really good job.

What could have been improved or changed with regards to the character.

Eh. No deep feelings there. (Paired ending with Eleanora LOL)

My number one wish for this character.

Lol Thanks, I always wondered how they feel about the dude when they played 3 before 7 or 6

Also how did the Eleanora and Marcus thing exist, I mean I recalled he never talked to her at all in 7, and the only time he talked about her was in Eliwood A

Chalk it up to "memetic feels."

Also, Elbert kicked the bucket. Eleanora's gonna be lonely.

I subscribe to this, of course. :-) And I should probably write it again. I haven't picked up either character for a while.
