No, it makes sense. I don't have a problem with headcanon, fanon, whatever it is we all create to fill in the gaps. That's cool. And sharing and spreading "headcanon" like in that anon meme thread is also cool.

Take Cain. I think in your headcanon he gets married to Palla, correct? In penandpaper71's headcanon, he gets married to Catria. In mine, he doesn't get married at all. Who's right? Well, as far as we can tell canon has zilch to say about it, and we can all live peaceably with our different views of Cain. But if one of us became convinced by our own headcanon and started editing the Fire Emblem wiki and stuff to "prove" our point to the world, that would be nuts. But that's exactly what happened in Gundam Wing-- people got so attached to their pairings and their conception of characters that they forged "Japanese" sources to back it up.

Which is just messed up.
