Eliwood #11: Intellectual pursuits. Mm. I tend to think of Elibe as a place where a noble's education would aim for a well-rounded character, in the manner of a the Renaissance ideal-- proficient at languages, writing, music, and "numbers," able to at least discuss fine arts and philosophy, and of course skilled in the martial arts. Part of this idea comes from the fact that someone like Cecilia, with her background in magic, is tutoring someone like Roy. And, as Eliwood is so very balanced in every other way (stats & personality), I see him as being interested in and appreciative of culture in general. I do think of him as having a bent towards music (I'd consider that intellectual as well as artistic).

I also think that an Eliwood married to Ninian might develop some more arcane interests than an Eliwood married to Lyn, Fiora, or Random Lycian Noblewoman.

Eliwood #39: What recharges him when he's feeling drained? Oh, this ties into the above. Music. I also see Mr. "I bring home Ilian flowers to my bride" as appreciating nature, the seasons, and that sort of transient natural beauty. He'd appreciate a nice walk in the gardens, or a ride through the countryside.
